Our Graphic Design students learn standard design processes, from
conceptualization to execution, as well as the importance of
"design thinking", in order to create effective visual
communication.
In general, our courses provide experience using Mac based
programs; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. In addition,
students become involved in digital photography, image editing
techniques, digital illustration,print design and typography.
Our department is also responsible for the production of the school
yearbook and our Fine Arts magazine. Students involved in these two
projects will be encouraged to develop professional work ethics in
regards to design schedules,positive critiquing and
presentations.
