Middle School
One child at a time
The Lake Mary Preparatory Middle School offers students grades
sixth through eighth and their families a safe, supportive,
academically challenging environment. The middle school years bring
many changes as students leave the elementary school environment
and prepare for their high school careers. Our middle school
teachers, administrators, and staff know the needs specific to this
stage of life and help LMP families to maximize this exciting time.
Rigorous academics, including honors and PRE-AP courses, along with
numerous co-curricular and extra-curricular activities help to
instruct and support a well-rounded student. All middle school
students will take classes in language arts, math, science, and
social studies. Our high school teachers work closely with our
middle school teachers in virtually every aspect of instruction.
This provides continuity across our curriculum through twelfth
grade. Nationally standardized tests such as the Stanford
Achievement Test, PLAN, PSAT, SAT, ACT, and AP tests help ensure
that our high school and middle school students are achieving their
potential in relation to students across the country. In addition
to their core academic classes, students will receive instruction
in foreign languages, electives, and physical education.
