Read TWO books from the list below and complete one evaluation for each book.

Evaluation Choices

Directions: Choose one activity from this list to complete for each of your summer reading books. Be prepared to present your finished product to the class and give an informal book talk on Friday, August 15 ^h .

1. Make a poster to advertise the book.

2. Create a puppet to represent a character in the book.

3. Write a letter to a friend telling why you recommend the book.

4. Write about- if you could give a gift to any one of the characters, to whom would you give it, what would the gift be, and why?

5. Draw a Venn diagram showing the likenesses and differences between two of the characters or between you and one of the characters.

6. Design a t-shirt for the main character.

7. Draw a cartoon strip showing the most exciting or most humorous incident in the story.

8. Write a different ending for the story.

9. Write a list of 20 questions you think everyone should be able to answer after reading the book.

10. Make a time line of events from the book.
