Lake Mary Preparatory
School
Lake Mary Preparatory School encourages organizational development
and leadership opportunities by the establishment of separate
Student Councils for the Middle School and Upper School through
which the students may participate in the formulation of
non-academic activities during the school year. An Executive
Council including a senior President, Vice President, Secretary,
and Treasurer is elected into office by the Upper School student
body. These students work closely with the advisor and serve as a
liaison between the administration and student body.
Members of the Student Council must meet high standards of
character and scholastic achievement. The students must have a
minimum of a 2.5 grade point average and must have a history of
behavioral excellence.
