On February 11th, 9 students represented LMP at the Seminole County Science And Engineering Fair. The following students were award winners:

Molly Flathman: Behavioral Science honorable mention (Title: Behavioral Study on Virtual Reality Games)
Jullian Zonts: BioMedical and Health Science 1st place (Title: The Effects of Essential Oil on the Lifespan of Male Drosophila melanogaster); Special Award: American Society for Quality); Selected to represent LMP at the state science fair on March 28 - 30th in Lakeland, Florida
Aaron Du: Chemistry 3rd place (Title: The Effectiveness of Salt in Terms of Food Preservation)
Mia Huynh: Earth and Environmental Science 2nd place (Title: Creating a Fungicide from Extracts of the Bromeliad Spanish Moss in Central Florida); Special Award: ASU Watson Sustainability Solutions Award
CJ Daleiden: Earth and Environmental Science Special Award ($25 gift card) (Title: How the Salinity Affects the Hatching Rate of Brine Shrimp Cysts)
Julianna Hurn: Physics and Astronomy 2nd place (Title: Investigation on the Effects of Water in the Martian Atmosphere); Special Award: American Meteorological Society 
Dante Lopez: Plant Science 3rd place (Title: How Electrolytes Affect the Growth Rate of Brassica rapa)
Harry Wu: Plant Science Honorable Mention (Title: A Study of the Influences of Acid Rain on Plants' Growth)
