We are currently accepting applications for 8th and 9th grade for the 2024-25 school year. (Please note - LMP's application fee of $100 (or $300 for international students) is non-refundable.)

The Application Process

1. APPLICATION

Go to LMP's Application Portal and create a new account. Once your account is created, you can start a new application immediately.
- Remember you can return to Application Portal to sign in to your account at any time.

2. ACCESS THE ADMISSIONS CHECKLIST

Log in to SchoolAdmin to access the Admissions Checklist for a list of required application documents. All required documents must be uploaded for final Admissions' decision. Requirements may vary by grade level.

3. ADMISSIONS CONTRACT ISSUED

Once the application process has been completed and an official decision has been made, the applicant will be notified via email by our Admissions Office. If accepted, an official letter and tuition agreement will be issued.

Required Documents

Please see the list below for all required application documents:

Copy of school transcript(s) and/or report card(s) for current year and last two full academic years*
Copy of latest MAP Assessment*
Copy of Birth Certificate
Copy of immunization on State of FL DH680 Form
Copy of a school physical or FHSAA sports physical dated within one year of application
IF APPLICABLE: Copy of IEP or 504 plan
IF APPLICABLE: Copy of any additional testing a student on IEP plan or 504 has had (e.g. WISC, Woodcock Johnson, etc.); if the student does not have any additional testing, we may request that be completed prior to an offer of enrollment.

*N/A for Preschool students

The above documents are required for the application to move forward with placement testing. Per state guidelines, a student may not start without the proper immunization and physical form on file at the school.

All applicants utilizing the McKay Scholarship must submit a copy of the current IEP/504 plan and all current educational testing. Additional testing may be required upon review of the IEP/504 plan to determine if Lake Mary Preparatory School can meet the student’s needs and which additional programs may be necessary.

Admission decisions are based on the following: The parent and child support of Lake Mary Preparatory School's mission, the academic performance that shows appropriate academic ability, motivation, and interest. Our goal is to enroll students who will benefit from all of the programs offered at Lake Mary Preparatory School and who will contribute to our school community.
