Dining Services

The cafeteria and Griffin Café provides meals, snacks and beverages to students during the school day. For lunch options, Lake Mary Preparatory School has partnered with Dishes2U to provide a secure, fast, and easy-to-use online ordering platform; allowing you to view the menus, order, prepay and manage your child's orders directly from your smartphone, tablet or computer. 

Dress Code

The purpose of Lake Mary Preparatory School's dress code is to standardize our expectations for student attire, while still providing the students an opportunity for individual expression. On special days throughout the year, our students are given the opportunity to "dress down" by wearing casual attire. Guidelines for those special days are also included with the dress code. 

 

Class Schedule

At Lake Mary Preparatory School we offer block scheduling where students meet with fewer classes, following an even/odd day rotation, for a longer period of time. With this, we aspire to prepare students for lengthier, less frequent college classes. 

 

Bring Your Own Device Program

At Lake Mary Preparatory School, we require all Middle and High School students to bring a laptop with them to school each day. We believe that technology is an essential supplement to face-to-face instruction in the 21st century as it enhances our studentsʼ learning experience, and equips our students with the skills needed to become proficient in our Six Pillars of Technology framework which include: professional-level publication, professional-level presentation, original research, data analysis, statistics/probability, and professional responsibility in a digital world.
