Attending our private school in Florida means doing a meaningful investment in your child’s future, providing exceptional teaching, innovative resources, and enriching opportunities beyond the classroom. Lake Mary Preparatory School's academy tuition is set by grade level, and families can split payments annually, in a bi-annual plan, or in convenient monthly installments. We accept several financial aid options and scholarships.
An application fee of $100 for domestic students or $300 for international learners is non-refundable.

Grades 6 – 8 Students in our middle school in Florida progress with an honors-level core curriculum complemented by enriching elective courses, with the option of earning high school credits. Extra-curriculars and early leadership roles empower them in growing curious and confident.
6th - 8th Grade

In addition to tuition and non-refundable fees, families should plan for uniform costs. All Lake Mary Preparatory School students are required to wear the official school uniform, which must be purchased separately.

Athletic fees
Student-athletes are charged a fee for each sport they participate in at the beginning of each season.

Lake Mary Prep welcomes students of all backgrounds and is committed to helping make our educational opportunities more accessible to qualified applicants.
Lake Mary Preparatory School accepts Florida Empowerment Scholarship (FES-EO), Florida Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA), and the HOPE Scholarship awarded by Step Up For Students. These scholarships can award $7,000 to $10,000 per student and can help defray the cost of tuition. It's important to note that a parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the child would receive if enrolled in a public school under the IDEA.
Lake Mary Prep allocates a set amount in need-based financial aid to qualified families. Financial aid must be applied for and evaluated annually. The application process for financial aid is self-managed and allows families to track each step from start to finish. Lake Mary Preparatory does not offer academic, athletic, or other merit-based scholarships. Additionally, our school limits the awarding of financial aid to two children per family at a time. A student should be enrolled for at least one year. International students are not eligible for financial aid.
To objectively determine each family's need for assistance, Lake Mary Prep uses FACTS, a third-party service to process financial aid applications and assess a family’s financial need. It simplifies the aid process by allowing families to complete one application, upload tax documents, and view real-time status updates.Disbursement of funds is contingent upon the results of a completed FACTS application and a review by our Tuition Assistance Committee. Lake Mary Preparatory School awards financial aid to students without regard to race, gender, religion, national origin, or disability.
Families enrolling two or more children at Lake Mary Preparatory School benefit from a sibling discount: the second child receives a $500 discount on tuition fees, while the third youngest receives a $750 discount.
In order to receive financial aid, candidates must:
Be enrolled at Lake Mary Preparatory School
Have a clean academic record and remain in good academic standing
Be involved in activities outside the classroom
Have strong character and integrity
Be up to date with financial obligations to Lake Mary Preparatory School
Please note that applications may not be reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee if required information is missing, guidelines are not followed, or the deadline is missed.

Tuition assistance
Upon accessing the FACTS website linked before, please create a new application for tuition assistance, providing the required information related to the prior year tax information.
LMP support
Our Admission Office will be notified when the FACTS application for tuition assistance is complete.
Offer
If you are eligible for tuition assistance and your child is accepted into Lake Mary Preparatory School, you will be able to view the tuition assistance award in your admission contract.
