    Online application

    Create a new account in our enrollment portal. Once your account is created, you can start a new application immediately. You'll be able to sign in to your account at any time. 

  • 02

    Admissions checklist

    Log in to SchoolAdmin to view the Admissions Checklist and required application documents. All documents must be uploaded to the Parent Portal before a final admissions decision can be made. Requirements may vary by grade level. 

  • 03

    Offer and acceptance

    Once the application is complete and a final decision has been made, the Admissions Office will notify the applicant by email. If accepted, families will receive an official acceptance letter and enrollment contract.

    Homestay request

    Host family placement is available to students in Grades 9 – 12 upon request via our Homestay Program for an additional fee, ensuring they live their American high school experience to the fullest.

    Before the first day of school, families receive key information to help students start with confidence through our Lower School and Upper School Handbooks.

Lake Mary Prep’s Homestay program gives international students in Grades 9 – 12 the opportunity to feel at home while studying in the U.S. Students who do not live with parents locally can become part of a welcoming host family, gaining cultural immersion, daily support, and a stronger sense of belonging throughout their educational journey.

Hosting an exchange student means more than providing a bed and meals. As a Lake Mary Preparatory School host family, you’ll welcome a new member into your home, share your everyday lives, and grow as you get to know each other and share your cultural perspectives. You’ll be surprised at how much you learn about yourself, your family, and community. Have a life-changing experience in your own home – become a host family!

A homestay program is an exchange program through which a local coordinator will match prospective or returning international students with qualified host families who will act as their guardian for the school semester or year.

  •  A clean, comfortable, well-lit room, with sufficient heating, ventilation, natural light, storage for clothes and use of a table or desk
  • Bed linens and towels which should be cleaned by the host on a weekly basis
  • Regular access to the bathroom as per a member of your family
  • A key or access to your home at any time
  • Warmly welcome international students to USA
  • Help students upon arrival with obtaining cell phones, bank accounts, physicals, school uniforms, attending orientation, and acclimating to their new life (also supported by local coordinator)
  • Encourage English speaking at home at all times
  • Provide quality meals aligned with student preferences
  • Involve students in nights out and family activities on weekends
