As the LMP campus community prepares for the Thanksgiving holiday, there is a profound sense of pride and gratitude in the air. The week was about more than just a break from classes; it was a time to reflect on our blessings and extend a hand to those around us. LMP was excited to share the final results of their recent food drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, and the impact is nothing short of inspiring. Making a Tangible Difference Together, the Lake Mary Preparatory community collected a remarkable 859 pounds of food. While the weight itself is impressive, the true story lies in what those donations represent: approximately 716 meals for our neighbors in Central Florida. Because of the contributions, hundreds of families in our local community will feel the warmth of a meal and the comfort of knowing they are supported during the holiday season. The Heart of the Griffin Spirit There is no more fitting way to kick off the Thanksgiving festivities than by putting our values into practice. By embracing LMP’s "Season of Giving," our students and families have turned the spirit of the holiday into direct action. This drive reminded us all that even small contributions, when gathered together, create a massive wave of support.
